things won't ever be the same

If I were a boy, I would probably wear something like this. Or..if I was Alexis Bledel, which this look was inspired from:

I loved the simplicity of this outfit so much that while I originally decided to wear a scarf to add some punch, I opted out and thought it just looked better with a plain shirt at the end. Simple v-neck t-shirt from Men's Hanes and Ms. Bledel: you win this time.

Wearing: Trenchcoat: Zara | Trousers, scarf: F21 | V-Neck T-Shirt: Hanes | Quilted Purse: Asos | Belt: thrifted | Shoes: Nine West

Alexis who? Lol. Amy you look so sophisticated and chic! Those bangs are amazing on you and totally suit you. I think the outfit looks good with or without the scarf. Maybe for the punch of colour, and if the scarf isn't too long, you can tie it to your bag? Cute bag btw! I still have yet to order anything from ASOS. I think if I start, I'd be in serious trouble.

Thanks for the blogroll add! Hooray for Vancouver fashion bloggers.

Have a good weekend! xo

Great inspiration and you definitely did the outfit justice. The trench coat with the cuffed navy trousers are perfect! :D

Did you have to pay custom duties on your ASOS order?

I love the contrasts of this look! Carefree but polished at the same time. I think wearing a gauzy, white button-down (but unbutton the first few buttons) could work with this look too.
